Train crossing
Train grade crossing markers make so much more sense. In addition to crossing bars and the red warning lights, there are also arrows to indicate where the train is coming from. In this case, both directions.

I'm not quite sure what this does, but we certainly don't have this at grade crossings in the US.

A staff worker was actually sweeping up all of the leaves on this path. It must be a continuous job.
